Weekend frenzy!!!

Had a wonderful but busy weekend. The weather is unbelievable high 70's for March is rare but I will take it..  Friday was the usual family night, but we are adding new members. My boys are growing up and there's girls in the picture these days. We have Alyssa now who is my oldest son Brad's girlfriend of almost a year now over and our foreign exchange son Marcus has a girl he likes named Maddie over. I wonder why he would want to get involved with girls, when he leaves back to Germany in June, but his response to me is I am having the full American experience. Hes a good kid I will just have to keep eyes on him at all times, as I do all my kids.  But anyways we had a beautiful time together as a family.   We had chicken and shrimp om the grill and I had a Caesar salad and red skin potatoes to also eat. And then later we had our Rice bonfire, we laugh cause Ron is always trying to compete with our neighbor on who can have the biggest fire... Good times forsure. I love when all my kids are home and happy. My husband and my kids are my life....

Its FRIDAY!!!

I love Friday's its a day where we Rice family put the week behind us and we focus on relaxing and spending time together, if the kids have plans Ron and I will usually call it date night, which is normally done at least 2 times a month. But really the kids are usually doing something in the house so really whatever time we have together is sorta date time right... I just mixed the marinade for our steaks, pineapple, teriyaki  and garlic.. Sounds so good and then I am cooking shrimp in a Moscoto white wine with some fresh spices. I hardly ever use recipe's so when something is good I will share complete details during my blogging. 

If you asked me a year ago today what my life was like and if I knew exactly what my future held, I could not tell you. But what I can tell you is, I know and have experienced situations that now I know was God preparing me for today and what I know now is and was always his plan.
